Balboa Park Grad Photos
You know, it can’t be said enough how iconic of a location Balboa park is. Sometimes because of how often I shoot there, it can feel a bit redundant, but then if I get out of my box and just literally turn the corner, there is so much more photo inspiration.
S’s mom scheduled these grad photos for her daughters high school graduation, which I thought was so sweet. As you guys know, Im a mom, so i’m like so sentimental now about all mom/kid things. My son is such a little guy that I love seeing parents of older kids and seeing how close they are and how the parent/kid relationship can blossom….anyways that was a tangent
But Yeah, so for these graduation photos of course we had to start at the organ pavilion. Its personally my favorite place in the park. On this day people were playing live music there so it made the environment so much more fun for our photos! We wandered around to several locations in the park so we could get a diverse bit of background for her photos.
These photos ended up kind of tripping me out while I was editing because the lighting and backgrounds were SO PERFECT that I kept feeling like it was all looking over edited. After running them through my sister, and her asking if I was high (which I wasn’t) I figured they were just perfect and not over-done
