studio day
So, when I first got back into. San Diego after my pregnancy orders (in the navy) in Virginia, I was super sad because I had to be away from my husband and son for a while. In this time is where I really started devoting my time to photography. I knew I wanted to put this energy into something productive so I just jumped right in.
I met my friend Jordan via Facebook cause she agreed to model for me. From there we just really connected, and now we have like weekly editing dates. So cute! Well anyways, she’s a phenomenal photographer. Her style is much more fashion/ editorial. Well, she put on this three part day with her mentee Shruti (who is also awesome! ) and invited me to come get creative!
I was stoked because, as we know, Im a wedding photographer. I don’t really do studio stuff.
At the same time as this, Averi (from jasperandlaneevents) were in the depths of planning our incredible passion project; our styled shoot!
So anyways, I met this model, Sharay, at Jordans shoot, and we hit it off right away. She agreed to come model for out blue hour evening elopement part of the shoot!
I loooove when stuff turns out like this and it was so fun and inspirational to get to push my creative limits with some truly talented artists .
