Hangar 21 wedding

OOOOOOooooh boy, when I tell you this wedding was iconic I mean it! S&J had two parts of their wedding and three outfits. A photographers dream.

So the first portion of this wedding was at a family home, with only closest family members. The bride is Vietnamese so they started the day with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony. The brides family all wore traditional Vietnamese outfits, while the groom and his family dressed in traditional Mexican prints. They really focused on celebrating their culture and family in the beginning portion of the day. I thought this was such a sweet and beautiful coming together moment.

Next we headed over to Hangar 21 in Fullerton California. Going into this helicopter hangar was a lookout different than anything I’ve experienced before. Being in the navy Im used to such dirty ugly hangars but boooooooy this place is nice! It’s got the whole urban, industrial vibe but in a chic way.

There were a bunch of little areas to tuck into to get some really unique photos. We even got to take photos on and around their helicopter before the grand entrance….which was by far the coooooolest thing I’ve seen in a long time. They got flown in and when they landed, the music playing was “Forgot about Dre” played on violin. LIKE…GET REAL! that’s the coolest fucking enterance ever!!!
