Spring Dream

SPRING IS HEEEEERRREEEEE!!!
For the first time since I have lived in San Diego, it rained like…a decent amount this past winter and early spring. And like, I complained. a lot. But now Im taking it all back, because HOLY COW! This super bloom in SoCal is incredible. Ive never seen so many flowers!

If you came here from my website then you probably know i’m a flower girly. So, when I saw all the flowers popping up I knew I had to get a flower power couples photoshoot.

SO here we are!

Tris and I made a plan to capture her and her partner in a classic San Diego location before they move. Sunset Cliffs is an iconic California spot, and right now there are daisies alllll over the cliff sides. This ended up working out perfectly since she’s moving away next week!

We got to Sunset Cliffs just before the famous Golden Hour. It was pretty funny because there were like 10 other photography sessions going on in that area too. But there’s plenty of space for everyone!

We started in the flower fields by the hills, then walked down to the cliffside for the water views. We finally ended up in a colorful patch of flowers just in time for the sun to set. I really mean it when I saw it was a spring time day dream.

We finished and I made the hike back to my car. This was one of those shoots that made me feel super lucky to be a SoCal transplant.
